A Tribute to Brett Favre - The Interception King

The only fitting tribute for a man whose final pass was an interception:

He's simply the best.

Well, I guess we can't expect Vikings fans to understand arithmetic.

If you'd bothered to spend 90 seconds to look at Favre's stats, you'd realize that he attempted and completed more passes than any QB in NFL history. So it figures that he'd have more picks too.

But his INTs/Attempts percentage is a more revealing statistic. That is, how many INTs did he throw as a percentage of his total attempts (3.29%, it turns out). Based on this, Favre ranks behind all-time greats like Montana, Young, Aikman, Elway, and Marino.

But he ranks ahead of HOF-caliber players like Bradshaw, Fouts, Jim Kelly, Moon, Starr, Staubach, and -- hey, lookee here! -- Fran Tarkenton.

So go ahead and enjoy your little video of Favre INTs. I prefer to watch my compilation of Vikings post-season choke jobs.

Thank you, Timbo. We'll do just that.

In the meantime, enjoy the next 30 years of Packer irrelevance. After all, that's what happened the last time they lost a Hall of Fame quarterback. No reason to think that this time will be any different.

You, your team, and fans of your team are complete garbage. Enjoy!

Hey now, "garbage" is one thing, Mr. Anonymous Vikings fan. But "complete garbage" -- well, that crosses the line.

As for the next 30 years of Packer irrelevance, I'm okay with that. We've enjoyed 15 years of success, so that seems a fair tradeoff.
